Lost Flutter flutter all around From here to there lost then found. Going about from place to place Looking for our own new space. Sitting waiting so patiently Waiting to see if he’ll fly with me. My wings are tired and he can’t move The sun’s not shining on us too soon. He touched my wings now I must stay Now I can’t fly away. It’s cold and dark and I’m all alone I need your wings to embrace my throne. I hear not but a single sound I can’t see you all around. Make some noise so I still know Not to flutter to and fro.

About the Author
Sharon is the Author of Sharon My Poems With You. She also has a poem in the Book Mists of Enchantment by the National Library of Poetry 1996. She recently moved back to Florida from Ohio, where some of her poems were written. Growing up in the small town of Wellsville, she writes from past and present events in the lives of others and herself.
