Deliverance

Throughout life, we find ourselves in difficult situations and places and wonder how we got there.  Sometimes it’s a direct result of our own doings and/or an attack from the enemy, trying to get us off track from what God has in store for us.  No matter what the situation is, we should know that God is always there, on the other side of the track waiting to give us His Helping Hand.  God is mightier than any negative situation that we find ourselves in.  I tell people all the time that God can deliver anyone from everything and all we have to do is believe and receive.  I know it’s easier said than done.

 It took me a year and a half to be freed from depression and suicidal thoughts. I thought dying and just not caring would be an easy way out for me.  Obviously God thought something different. I thank God that He did.  I had to tell God that I wanted to be delivered from depression and had to start confessing that I had a renewed mind and spirit and remembered that I was created in His image; therefore I couldn’t and wouldn’t allow depression or suicidal thoughts to tear me down.

In my daily contact with people, I have heard stories and even seen where God has delivered homosexuals, prostitutes and drug addicts.  I won’t say that the devil doesn’t try to come back and tempt us all, but one thing I do know, is that although he may come back, God never leaves us!

 The poems that follow are poems of deliverance.  I wanted to show and to tell you, that even in the midst of your negative circumstance, if you stand, trust and believe in Him, He will deliver you out of the hand of the enemy and even out of your own self demise.

Now Heavenly Father, I pray that for any one needing deliverance, You will touch their hearts, minds, spirit and body.  I pray for complete restoration in all areas of incompleteness and in the areas they have suffered a loss. I ask for Your continued Grace, Mercy and Favor over them Lord.  I ask that when they can no longer see their way out, that You will give them spiritual eyes to see with.  I pray that You will send your angels to direct their paths and make their crooked road straight.  In Your Holy, Unmovable Name.  Amen!
