About the Book

     Mine is a basketball story unlike any other. It is an inspiring and heart breaking story about love, truimphs, disappointments and resilency. It is about a young girl from Philadelphia who fell in love with basketball and had a vision. She shattered the basketball record books, bruised many egos and seized the country's consciousness.

     It is a true story about how Linda " Hawkeye" Page scored 100 points in a high school basketball game to break Wilt Chamberlain's high school records and become the #1 recruit in the nation. It talks about how she perservered at N.C. State playing for Kay Yow and how her unwavering determination and faith in God enabled her to lead the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring three seasons straight to become an ACC Legend.

About the Author

Linda "Hawkeye" Page is the #1 Shooting Instructor in the country. Linda played Pro basketball in Europe and won a championship in Spain. Linda led the NCAA in free throw percentage and was a three time All-American at N.C..State where her jersey was retired in 2000. 

Linda is a retired Juvenile Probation Officer and currently a Master Level Clinician for children. Linda graduated from Shippensburg University of Pa. in 1993 where she obtained her Master's Degree. Linda is annointed a basketball Shooting Coach/ Skill Developer. She is the CEO of  Linda Page's Shooting Clinic where she specializes in developing confidence and basketball skills.
