About the Book

All of my poems are about things that I see or feel -- the every day happenings that are around us.  Mostly they are just plain thoughts that come into my head.

About the Author

I was born in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.   I lived in Wilson, Pennsylvania until I moved with my sister to Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.

I graduated in 1936 and married my country boy sweetheart after graduation.   We owned and operated a small store on Neville Island, Pennsylvania before moving to the country.  We ran a stable where we rented horses out for people to ride.   That’s where I learned to love the country.

After World War II, when my husband Max returned from the war, we moved to Millwood, West Virginia.   Soon after, we relocated to Ravenswood, West Virginia.   This is where we retired and I still live there.

We raised two daughters that we love very much.   They are both married and I have a granddaughter and great granddaughter.   Who could ask for anything more?
