Why are we here? What is life all about? I am saved! Now what? Why would God want me to go through all this tough stuff? God has not left the answer to these questions a mystery! He gives us the answers in the Bible. God does not want us ignorant about our purpose and future. God’s Word declares great news about our life in Christ, both now and for eternity. In the pages that follow I have attempted to clearly deliver this “Good News to the Believer”. So let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds! (Roman 12:2). If you will receive the teaching that follows you should never again be confused about why we are alive and what our purpose and future is. God has more for You! God desires more for us in relationship and blessings than we believe we can receive. By receiving the work of the Cross we are delivered from death unto life. I have lived most of my years since receiving Christ not fully accepting that I have been born anew and empowered to live a life glorifying and useful to God. We truly are new in Christ. All is new, not sort of new, or part new and part old. We are taught that we were crucified with Christ, resurrected to a new life, and born of the Spirit. We do well if we embrace the “Good News” we are delivered to, and adopt as our own, the life God has given us through our faith in Christ.

Previously, I attempted to live a godly Christian life, only to feel that I had missed the mark and had come up short. My infantile human efforts to be holy before God, only allowed me to obtain human results. By realizing that Christ has presented me, by His sacrifice on the cross for my sins, a pure white vessel before God the Father, I now realize that God sees me, through Jesus Christ, as a son. This understanding makes me desire to please and serve Him more, and rest in the knowledge that I am truly a precious and holy son of God. It will clearly teach them the fullness of grace and the power of Christ that is in each of us, launching new disciples with power and purpose. Matthew Barrett Dave Hutchinson is a least likely candidate for the role of author. Being urged by the Spirit to list the overwhelming gifts of grace, Dave simply acted in faith without knowing where it would lead. His faith has led to the book The Riches of Grace! This is the nature of our walk of faith with the Creator. Taking a risk and trusting God for the outcome over time has transformed Dave, who didn’t finish college, into a student, teacher, elder, pastor, and author. Dave was born and raised in Ashland Oregon. After a transforming experience of losing his first wife Phala of twenty-two years, Dave met and married Julie who was also a widow and they set their hearts on trusting who God is and what He has done. It is their prayer that God be glorified through this writing and that we all accept as true what God has declared and grow closer to our Savior.
