Keila R. Adams was born on March 11, 1978 to Mrs. Wilma Jean Lambert-Adams and Mr. Jesse Bernard Adams, Jr., in Jackson, Mississippi. She began writing poetry when she was ten years old. She graduated from Murrah High School in 1996, and went on to receive her Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education from Jackson State University, in 2000. She has written a few songs, but her passion is in writing poems that deal with matters of the heart. Those deep emotions that will take the reader to a place that may bring them to tears, or give them a feeling of excitement they never thought poetry could. Erica V. Jones was born on May 25, 1975 to Mrs. Bertha L. Jones and Mr. Jesse B. Adams, in Jackson, Mississippi. Erica attended Lanier High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Jackson State University. Growing up in the poorest of neighborhoods, experiencing a lot of worldly things at an early age, and a lot of heartache in relationships, served as the catalyst that catapulted her inter poetry writer to surface. She never allowed her surroundings to dictate who she was destine to become. Erica has always been one who could put her thoughts into such a format, that everyone looked to her to write things they needed to get a point across, but couldn’t find the words to do so.
