About the Book

Suddenly you are taking care of a loved one during their last days.  Maybe a parent that always took care of you, perhaps another family member, or even close friend.  There is information given to you about what they will to through…but what will you face?  What do you need to know?

This book attempts to help you through some of the rough times that it seems no one prepares you for.  Not every situation is the same, but there are tidbits of information you can use to help make this an easier time for you and the one you love.

About the Author

Joan and her husband Don spend their time in central Wisconsin on their farm.  There they have found true enjoyment in caring for the animals and country living.  Having spent the majority of their lives in larger cities, they have fully embraced their new life. 

Joan is a mother of two, stepmother of two and grandmother.  She considers herself very fortunate to have the love and encouragement of her family and friends to write this book in order to help others.

After spending most of her career as an administrative assistant in the private, non-profit, and public sectors, Joan made the transition to self-employed in the family business with her husband and sons.

On any given day she can be found taking care of the family business, writing, or milking goats on the farm with her husband.
