About the Author
Michael is a Philadelphia native who still lives in it's surrounding suburbs. He began writing this story on the train ride into work. Although, there is one character in this book who waited a very long time to be penned on paper. As a child, Michael and his family created a fond and lasting memory in which an imaginary village of creatures, "The Belly Buttonie" inhabited his Father's belly button. These antics became the inspiration for writing a book his children and all others can now enjoy. The book is written in loving memory of his father, Salvatore A. Riccobono.
