RESTFULNESS The lapping sea then miles of glistening sand See lovers walk hand in hand The sky above azure blue This is heaven for me and you In a lazy flight the sea birds fly Occasionally diving from the sky Into the sea just below Hitting the water with a glancing blow The gulls must have exceptional sight To spot the fish from a very great height But this is nature at its best The solitude-silence as we rest In the distant horizon a ship we spot The sun at this time is very hot We walk to the headlands to find a shady nook And spot a fisherman with line and hook At peace with nature we seem to be This for us is ecstasy The sun, the wind and rain God gave us those to keep us sane.

About the Author
E.J Moclair was born in Ballyshannon in County Donegal Eire in 1922. E.J moves to England in 1942 were he has lived a peaceful and happy life. His passion literature and writing poetry has been a gift he has had and nurtured since he was a young lad. Now many, many on, encouraged by family, friends and fellow poets, he has finally put into print his poems for all to enjoy.
