About the Book
This story is about finally remembering four years of sexual abuse so traumatizing that it was hidden in the deep subconscious. The abuse, along with detachment from others, led to a life of mistrusting almost everyone.
About the Author
Kathleen Alfonso found that her experiences are shared by many women, young and old. She felt it was time to bare all. All what is written is from memory that resurfaced when she least expected it.
Kathleen enjoys her family. She has one son and one daughter. She adores her three grandchildren and lives close to them.
She enjoys the quiet life in the country and works at a rehabilitation center as a registered nurse.
