About the Book

The main points of this book is to give the civil war novice and expert some further insights into the nature of this 'bloody' war through the voices of the characters portrayed in the book. The voice of the omniscient author is there to bring it all together and tidy up the historical dimension of the Civil War period. The book was written in a style that allows the reader to look over the shoulder of the characters and thus follow the plot and sub-plots as they unfold. Wars change and people change and this we can see through the delivery of the events as they develop.
