Introduction

A Paradigm Shift

As Jesus lived and walked on this earth, He shifted peoples' paradigms and opened their eyes to a whole new reality and world that far surpassed what they had thought could be their own. His was an extreme mission that He went to extreme lengths to accomplish.

Who, being in the form of God . . . equal with God . . . made Himself of

no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in

the likeness of men . . . humbled himself, and became obedient unto

death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:6-8)

Jesus healed, delivered, and set people free from any and all bondage. He made some bold declarations along the way, like, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). He also said, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31, 32).

There is so much that God has for us. Jesus told us how to get this in John 8:31, “If you abide in My word . . .” As we get into God's word and spend time with Him, He begins to speak truth to us and over us, which in turn sets us free. As we get revelations and become free, we can set others free. I'm not just talking about getting free from sin, but getting free from everything that is holding us back.

Jesus is the truth. So, as we begin to seek out and experience truth, we are experiencing Jesus; and, inversely, as we begin to seek out and experience Jesus, we are experiencing truth. God wants to take us all on a journey into truth. And I believe we are ready. We are tired of the fake, of the shallow, of the hypocritical, of the irrelevant. We are tired of being weak, sick, hurting, bound, and poor in so very many ways. This book is about a journey into truth, into this whole new reality and world where people are healed, delivered, and set free from any and all bondage.

Testimonies are powerful tools used by God to speed up the revelation of His word . . . the journey into truth and to experiencing truth, including the supernatural power of God that comes with it. THIS BOOK IS A TESTIMONY, a testimony being the statement or declaration of someone who is a witness. And a witness is an individual who, being present, personally sees or becomes aware of a thing. That's right, this book is a testimony . . . and it is my testimony. I am the witness - I was personally

present . . . I saw what God did. I saw the life-changing work God did in my life leading up to and during a three-year missionary stint in Mongolia; and I saw the confirmation of God's word with signs and wonders following (yes, actual signs and wonders) while I was in Mongolia, as well as the life-changing work He did, not just for, but in the lives of the people while I was there.

I came to know certain truths about God - especially in regard to His miracle-working power and how I can have the kind of faith necessary to wield that same kind of power.. And I came to know these certain truths about God through experiences that I witnessed both in my own life and in the lives of others. Notice that I said that I experienced these truths. There is a difference between hearing about truth and experiencing truth. Apostle Paul noted this difference in I Corinthians 4:20 when he said, “For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.” While Jesus said to “abide in My word” and “know the truth,” He also said He would testify to that truth, confirm it, “with signs following” (Mark 16:20). We have had too much talk and not enough power, not enough confirming the word with signs following.
