However, I do remember this incident as clear as day.A very good friend of mine at the time, and I had been drinking. We decided to drive from Gary, IN to Bloomington IN. We both had too much to drink to be driving that far of a distance. As we were driving, I obviously fell asleep and what woke me up was this voice. It was the most thunderous voice I had ever heard in my entire life.This voice carried with it power, it was a very demanding voice. It was commanding and the volume and the bass behind this voice was one of authority. The voice was the kind that demanded instant respect and response. This voice made you react immediately without any delay or time to think. This voice allowed no room for you to make a personal decision or form your own opinion. This voice was not just heard but it was also felt.It left you no choice but to follow it's demands. The voice said to me MICHAEL WAKE UP NOW! As I did I realized that we were traveling about 90 miles per hour. We were headed directly into a parked eighteen wheeler on the side of the expressway.
My friend was asleep at the wheel and I had just enough time to snatch the steering wheel away from the truck ahead. We literally missed that parked truck by twenty- five feet. My friend woke up after I lost control of the car from the violent jerk of the steering wheel. Had not that voice called me when it did, we would have been killed on contact. I,knew then as I know now that God had saved my life.

Life By Suicide is about killing all the negative things in your life. Things that have kept you from being happy and seeking your salvation. This is the story of one man's journey. His depression and his addictions to both alcohol and drugs left him feeling suicidal. However, because of his love for God and his daughter suicide was not an option.

About the Author
Michael F. Clark, was born in Gary, IN. in the year of 1958, where he attended Emerson High School and graduated from Martin L King Academy. Today he lives in Minneapolis, MN with his 17 year old daughter. His love and faith in God has allowed him to overcome all the obstacles in his life. He is a respected member of his community and looks forward to giving back to that community. It is through this love that he gives you the oppotunity to find happiness and salvation, through Life By Suicide.
