What I See When I see an old lady in the store that needs help. I don't just see an old lady but I see my grandmother. When I see a begger on the street with his hand held out. I don't just see a begger. I see my brother. When I see a battered woman banged up and bruised I see my sister. When I see a woman counting change, trying to make ends meet. I don't just see a woman, I see my mother. When I see that man that works day and night, but is to tired to sleep. I see my father. When I see that kid that don't have enough to eat. Stomach swollen with air and nothing on his feet. I see my child. If I pass them by and don't give them a hand. What do I see? I SEE JESUS LOOKING AT ME!

Paula La Fran Gilliam-Williams,I was born August17,1972 in Hamburg, AR to the proud parents of Eddie and Leola Gilliam. I have six sisters and two brothers. I accepted Christ at the age of 13 At Phillip Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Hamburg, AR.At the age of 9 I began writing poetry. I was inspired to write by all of lifes challenges. As my journey continued I meet and fell in love with my husband, Anthony Williams. I have 3 children. Ricardo, Anthony Jr., Tyrese(Silas),and 2 step-children. Kiauna and Mark. I am a servant at the Ledbettter Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR. Pastor Carl McCree. My goal is to help heal broken -hearts by ministring through poetry.
