Despite the outcome of each episode in my daily life, I'm always mindful that I'm part human and part spirit within the same body. In the end, the past always catches up with the flesh, but the spirit lives once a man and twice a child. Inspirational words are spiritual food for my humble spirit mind, while the same words repel the forces of evildoers. Duckensfield, “My Little Garden of Eden.” It’s a community of woodlands, hills and green pastures, entertainment, religions and witchdoctors. Once upon a time in my little Garden of Eden, children came out to play on Moro Lane with lots of fun and laughter. The local natives once bathe and wash clothes in clean river waters, which were fill with fishes, crocodiles and alligators. From the wilderness of copious tropical fruits and plants, to the perilous streets of central Kingston, Jamaica, Junior Mendez’s journey in life takes him to the land of the free and home of the brave. Something’s in life are free, but they're hidden from the wise and prudent, they're revealed to comfort the poor and faithful living in poverty, hopelessness and obscurity. Each of us may take different journey in life, for some, the road may be rocky and narrow and for others, the road may be wide and straight.

Some may read this book and find it straightforward and easy to comprehend, others may read this book with much incredulity and disbelief. This book, “My Little Garden of Eden” was written to enlighten my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, you're my family and friends; we are all sons and daughters of the Most High; this book is for you. It is better to believe and have faith in something, rather than not believe and have faith in nothing.
About the Author
At age seventeen, Morales Mendez, Jr. (Junior Mendez) had only completed a nursery school or kindergarten education in Duckensfield before he left Jamaica to live with his mother and stepfather in Rochester, New York. To escape the anxiety and nervousness at home with his mother and stepfather, Junior Mendez worked and attended Aquinas Institute High School for one year, and then he took the General Educational Development (GED) High School Equivalency Exam and obtained a GED to enter the U.S. military at eighteen years old. Junior graduated from Monroe Community College in 1978, completed a machinist-training program, and worked for several years as a machinist, tool and die maker. He got married to the love of his life from Jamaica and after seventeen years of marriage with four children, the forces of evil overtook Junior Mendez and his family with drugs, crimes, sex, prison, and enough wealth for his wife and children. They moved to Miami, Florida to start a new life and to break away from the sins of Junior Mendez. Junior Mendez graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) Emperor State College with a bachelor’s degree, and later earned two master’s degrees from University of Phoenix Online. Junior is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at University of Phoenix.
