There have been well over 100 books written on the New York Yankees.  However, this one takes a popular subject and looks at it from a very different angle.  Batting 10th for the Yankees; Recollections of 30 Yankees You May Not Rememeber contains in depth interviews with former ballplayers who had brief careers or were bench players.  These largely unknown men shared the unique privilage of having worn the pinstripes and played at Yankee Stadium.

About the Author

Kenneth Hogan is a New York CIty Firefighter who resides in Breezy Point, New York with his wife Janet and daughters Charlotte and Mallory.  He has previously written three books including America's Ballparks and The 1969 Seattle Pilots; Major League Baseball's One-Year Team.  His writtings on baseball have appeared in local periodicals and River Avenue Blues.  Kenny has appeared on NBC's Today Show and White Plains cable's Beyond the Game.
