About the Author

Photographer Corinna Stoeffl and poet Stewart Warren bring their skills as artists and their delight in spiritual perspective to this conversation of image and word.

Born and raised in Germany, Corinna Stoeffl came to the United States in 1980. The diverse beauty of her homeland and the dramatic landscapes of the American Southwest continually speak to her, calling to her for expression through the captured image.  In 2004 a trip to South Africa encouraged Corinna to a new level of dedication with her camera.  In preparation she began taking classes in both photography and digital darkroom.  Some of her coursework has been with notables in the field such as William Neil.

Corinna Stoeffl exhibits her photographs at shows and fairs where she receives awards for her work and connects with other artists.  She enjoys shooting in the field and has traveled in Europe, The Middle East, Africa and North America , continually looking for “that more intimate view.”   Corinna is currently studying with mentor Eddie Soloway.   A selection of her images can be seen at stoefflphotography.com.

Stewart Warren settled in 1992 on the written and spoken word as an avenue of artistic expression.  He lovingly regards his work in several spiritual disciplines as scaffolding, a means to an end that at some point becomes distraction.  In this collaboration with Corinna Stoeffl he hopes to avoid the trappings of belief systems and take one closer to the essence of the moment.

Stewart Warren is author of four collections of poetry.  A writing coach and organizer of community events, Warren uses his expertise to assists others in deepening their creative experience and realizing their artistic visions.  He resides at his home, Nido del Cielo, in the Piedra Lumbre Basin of northern New Mexico.  Visit heartlink.com for more information and other publications.
