About the Author
Ida L. Upchurch was born in Greene County, in the deep segregated south in the state of Alabama.
Her storms started on the day of her birth. As a young child, the only treasures she had were her faith and hope that one day her dreams would come true. Although, the world tried to reject her. This journey led her from Alabama to New York, to Europe, to Canada, to Africa, to South America, and the Caribbean Islands. She is currently living in Virginia Beach and often visits her birthplace back in Alabama.
Ida Upchurch Dean earned her PhD in Health Theology. Her belief is that God has designed our bodies in a way to maintain our good health. She is an ordained Minister and a Holistic Health Counselor. She, along with her husband, is the Co-Founder of The Healing Room Ministry. She is very active with the Prison /Jail Ministry and is a Respite caregiver for the Elderly.
Her life, like your, has not been all sunshine on a sandy beach. She has had some stormy moments and some rainy seasons. She learned; there is a power for more powerful than anything, or any human on this earth. If we would connect to this Supernatural Power, we will make it. She did!
