About the Book
This kinetic-mojo poetry book was loosely designed to be read outloud, as a performance piece. It can be read as a standard poetry book; however, these versifications lend themselves best to a traditional jazz accompaniment—but this is not a hard and fast rule. (Play with it.) And please feel free to stop in on any local coffeehouse open mic night; and if you're feeling bold enough; use these words... until you've found your own. Tell them, "Rorry Nighttrain East sent me." Perhaps... you too will find out that you are an "August-messenger", and together we may just re-inspire the grand revival of (bongo and bass guitar background music), with the elan of spoken poetry—to be an art form that will live on.

Rorry Nighttrain East a.k.a. R.L. Farr was born in
On becoming a bi-lateral amputee in 1991, he has used his recovery time to begin writing books and screenplays for personal entertainment. Before this he was a licensed journeyman automobile mechanic for a Lincoln Mercury dealership in the Bay Area of California. He has formerly been a computer tech., a campershell salesman and a house painter. He is also an alumnus of De Anza College Cupertino, Cal.
