As a young girl growing up on a farm, I know all too well the significance of changing seasons for the farmer. With each season comes tasks that are necessary for the productiveness of the next. If a farmer was lazy or miscalculated his timing, he could have lost an entire crop. Without changing seasons in your life, you can not be productive as a Christian. Each season that comes offer something that is needful for continued growth in your walk with Christ. Your spiritual growth with Christ will always demand a never ending, always constant changing climate. And just when you think you’ve mastered one season; here comes another one. There will be some times when it seems like the season you are in will never come to an end because of the constant heat from the fiery trials. Then there will be seasons you will NEVER WANT TO COME TO AN END because they will be times of refreshing spent in the presence of the Lord God Most High, and blessings will be overflowing!
Spring will come with its gentle rain filled days that will stimulate your spiritual walk with Christ. You will feel exhilarated and carefree. In this season you must not become complacent and dependent on God to do everything for you.
Summer, the most dreaded season by new and seasoned converts, will come with its heat filled days. There will times when it will seem like the trials will never cease. It is here that you must be very careful, because the heat of the summer is where most people leave their harvest in the field and walk away because they can’t endure the heat of the trials.
But if, IF you ENDURE the heat of the summer, you will enjoy Autumn, for it will be YOUR TIME OF HARVEST. And if you have sown diligently and labored faithfully, and patiently waited on God, you will reap an abundance!
And then comes winter; that long awaited season where God gives you the rest that you need so that He can start the process in your life all over again.

This is a simple manual written to help you answer questions you will probably encounter as you begin your new walk with Christ. It is not to bombard or overwhelm you with a lot of information. It is to be used as a quick reference tool to help make your transition as smooth as possible.
As you read it along with your bible daily, my prayer is that the Word of God will come alive to you and cause you to grow strong in the Lord and in the power of His Might!
