MEMORIAL DAY
Memorial Day is when we remember the wall,
It’s when we admire the brave.
All that fought, and stood very tall,
And the ones that were sent to their grave.
They fought for our freedom, and for our rights,
They fought for their own survival.
They marched through the rain and very cold nights,
Awaiting the enemy’s arrival.
They went into combat with their heads held high,
Some of them wanted to stay.
They fought very bravely, and were prepared to die,
And that’s why we celebrate this day.
SON OF GOD
An angel appeared before the virgin Marry,
He said in your womb, a son you will carry.
You will name him Jesus, and He will be King,
He is the Son of God and can do anything.
He will cast out demons, and make them flee,
He will heal the blind, so that they can see.
He will preach God’s word in every single city,
He will give us His love and show a lot of pity.
Jesus will be arrested, and be put on trial,

Elliot Marzullo is a devoted Christian and loving family man. He has two stepchildren, and a son of his own, and another on the way. He loves to write poetry, it’s been a passion of his for many years. He loves all sports, especially baseball and football. He was born in Atlanta GA, and now lives in Austell, GA, with his wife and children. This is his first poetry book.
