About the Author

Danielle A. Deckard was born on October 11, 1983 in Houston, Texas, where she currently resides when she is not overseas in Iraq serving her country. As a young girl Danielle was the only student who would turn in two written pages after being told to only turn in one paragraph. She grew up enjoying writing words and loving vocabulary. Putting words together to express herself was her forte. She later grew up to enjoy her fondness and pursued a degree a Bachelors Degree at Jarvis Christian College in English, with a minor in coaching since basketball was her second, first passion. Upon graduation, the WNBA seemed to be the last thing on her mind and writing was more in the lead. Landing an awesome job dream job straight out of college in marketing with Corporate Toyota gained her great exposure to the rest of the world. She gained experience and sought out to write a poetry book of people’s experiences that she had came in contact with over time. Her drive to be a writer was not just a dream, it was her calling. Two years later, she published, “Catchy, feel-good, keepsakes, never-to-forget, say-them-all-the-time phrases.” Danielle’s first book did well to say that it was her first book. Her writings are about her love, so she tries to touch the world with every word and phrase. During this period of time she managed to go to Iraq and gain exposure to another side of life. With writing and amazement in her mind, she knew that she had to do more than write books, she needed to put something better out. She will tell you that dreams are never complicated; you just have to possess a bullet proof soul and a fabulous pen!
