He is close. I can feel him. I sit up and there he is looking in my window. What is he doing? I jump out of bed and head outside and he grabs me, suddenly we are in the woods again, I am not even sure how we get there. “You are going to help me,” he says. “Help you, how?” I ask out of breath from the adrenaline rushing through my body. “You will help me get my prey.” “WHAT?” I yell. “Are you crazy? I will not help you kill people.” I must have been crazy to think there was anything good about you, just because you spared me doesn't make you good! I know I went too far because the next thing I know his eyes were glowing, and his face turned red. He looked evil! Now I am afraid! I start to back away, and I take a chance turn and start running. I run as fast as I can all the while he never moves. I glance back and see he is still standing in the same spot, and then he speaks like thunder. “YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE ME; YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE YOUR PURPOSE!” I am so frightened I don't know how I am running, my legs feel like they are glued to the ground, but I just keep forcing them along. It was pointless, within a few moments of running he suddenly has me pinned to a tree, and then he wraps his arm around my waist, and with his other arm climbs the tree to the very top.

Her life is one of a typical teenager, until the day she goes for a walk. Her walk will turn her life upside down, and now there is no escaping her purpose, her destiny. Teenagers have been murdered. Teenagers have gone missing. The human/beast has given Rose no choice but to help him in his killing spree. Is she brave enough, is she strong enough to stop the town's serial killer beast? Will she be able to get her life back? Or will she too get killed in the process?

Tracy Brusa brings her readers to the edge of their seat. The suspense and constant action leaves her readers wanting more. Tracy has been happily married for twenty years, and has three children. She resides in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. She loves to take family vacations at her trailer in Kennebunk, Maine. Besides writing, Tracy loves art. She loves to paint in the form of acrylics. She loves to read, especially in the summer's on the beach. Tracy grew up in Auburn, Massachusetts. Even as a child she would love to write short stories, and poems. Tracy took classes through Quinsigamond Community College, for writing, which she received her completion certificates.
