Until you know who I am…

Do not judge me by my appearance,

Or by the way I talk.

Do not judge me by the way I act,

Or by the way I walk.

Do not judge me for what I ask,

or what I can not do.

Do not judge me on what I fear,

Or in comparison to you.

Do not judge me by the way I sing

Or by the way I laugh.

Do not judge me by my tears,

Or by the friends I have.

Do not judge me by my speech,

Or by my weight; big or thin,

Do not judge me by my habits,

Or by the color of my skin.

You can not judge me on what I feel,

Or from what you see,

Until you know who I am, you can not judge me.
