When Cynthia saw a toddler crawling on the floor in a public bathroom, the concept of this book was born. Cynthia wanted to do something to help educate both children and parents in regards to the germs that are in bathrooms. She thought, that mother just does not have the knowledge of the potential harm her baby is in. She named the book in her head A Trip to the Bathroom and then later developed Gerby as a character and “Gerby the Germ and A Trip to the Bathroom” became the title. About the Author
Cynthia has degrees in both Education and as a Registered Nurse. Her nursing experience was in Labor and Delivery. She has worked in Healthcare Sales and Marketing for over 20 years including Pharmaceutical, Biotech, both Plasma and Pharmaceutical Distribution as well as Education and Marketing Hospice Services and End of Life Care. She resides in Florida with her husband Patrick and their 6 rescued animals: 2 Toy Poodles and 4 Cats.
