About the Book

Mittens in the Attic is a story about a large family of nine children. An older sister uses her imagination to create a scary monster hiding in the attic. Fears are put to rest when the scary monster joins in for the fun of a big snowball fight.

About the Author

Paula Crayon, an educator, lives with her husband and family on Long Island. Paula is also the author of An Angel in My Pocket ( a specialty book) and the funny Wrong Dog in the Right Bathroom. She enjoys writing true stories that children can relate to.

Linda Seckler works with ink washes and colored pencil to create her illustrations. She is an art educator on Long Island where she lives with her husband, two children, and four dogs. This is her first children’s book.
