CHAPTER 4 - NERO Setting [It was a Tuesday morning and Renardd and Kid was out patrolling the far end of 42nd street.] Kid: I think I am getting use to this city, although I haven't seen everything so far it still is beautiful. Renardd: I don't see the beautiness you speak of. Kid: Is beautiness even a word? Kid: Anyway... that's because New York is all you have ever known. Renardd: Maybe but it still doesn't change the fact that- [Renardd had cut himself short when his eyes landed on a red camaro with 18 inches on it and a base so loud that the ground he stood upon started to quiver. All but the driver side of the window was tinted dark.] Kid: W-What is going on, why did you stop? [Renardd could not believe it, but it was like looking at myth. He said to kid.....] Renardd: Tell me you see the same thing I'm seeing. Kid: The car? Renardd: Driver, the damn driver! Kid: Yea yea, so what about him? Renardd: It's him... Kid: Who? Who is he? Renardd: He must be worth about two-million dollars to his neck by now. {While stepping out of the car} Kid: He's rich? [Renardd starts to sweat profusely with each step he takes towards the Camaro.] Kid: Who is he? [Renardd gives a long pause.] Renardd: He is known as Nero, as far back as I can remember this S.O.B.'s been evading my tickets. Kid: He sounds dangerous but why does his name sounds like a super villain? Renardd: Make no mistake little boy. Not only does his name sound like a villain but he dresses like one too. [They sneaked up behinds the red Camaro to get a better look at his license plate. But just like something out of a movie Nero spotted Renardd in his rear view mirror. Putting the stick gear in reverse, Nero was able to back the car up towards the two.] Renardd: Move your ass Judas! [Able to avoid death, Kid got a good look at Nero s face. Unfortunately, he was wearing a cap which was pulled downward on his face with a hood over his head.] [The car starts to speed off to making a daring escape. Without hesitation Renardd was able to find a short cut between 40th and 39th street on foot which was impossible and Kid knew that.] Renardd: Nero!!!! [Renardd jumps off a taxi and landed on the roof of the red Camaro and sticking his hand right through the window choking the life out of Nero.] [Nero swerves the car to the right in order to get free of Renardd's choke hold.] Renardd: Nero!!!! [Desperate to lose Renardd, Nero went off road into a McDonald's drive-thru hoping the bump from the curb would cause Renardd to lose his grip.] [Making a second attempt to grab him Renardd handed him a McDonald's soda to sip on. Giving up on figuring out where or when Renardd had time to purchase the cold beverage, Nero just decided to take a sip out of it.] [A third attempt to put his hand through the window to give Nero a ticket. But Nero is trying to figure out if Renardd just wrote it while holding on to the car or was it always prepared for this moment to come.] [A fourth attempt and Renardd was able to grab Nero's shade and cap.] Renardd: Wow!! [Feeling so excited to get the disguise off he knew it was only a matter of time before he finally discovered his IDENTITY.] [Driving down an alley the car stops short without any sign of slowing down which sends Renardd flying into a pile of trash. The door opens up and out comes Nero with the same shades and cap on.] Renardd: Come on!! That's impossible!!! [With Renardd standing in his way Nero's only choice was to run the other way since the car was already low on gas. The two heard heavy breathing and the footsteps of an out of shape man running from the entrance they came through.] Kid: Gasp, gasp R-Renardd what is going on here!? Renardd: Good job Kid now we got him right where we want him! [Just when it was looking dim for Nero, a door suddenly opens up and out comes a chef with a hand full of trash. Without thinking Renardd runs towards the door to prevent Nero's escape.] Renardd: Move your ass Judass! Kid: Gasp o-ok! [Already calculating his move Nero was able to use parkour skills to jump off the chef's back in order to flip off the wall.] [Simultaneously doing a cart wheel right off Renardd's shoulders and landing into the open door.] Renardd: Damn it! Come back! When the hell did you have time to learn parkour? Setting [Running through the famous restaurant kitchen of Jack Pier, Renardd pulled out his note pad to show all the chef's that he was certified and everything will be ok.] Renardd: Move! Move! It s ok I'm a Meter Maid!!! Kid: Gasp! Gasppp!!! [Seeing Nero flipping off the dining tables like a mad man, Renardd thought he would try it too. So when the moment came Renardd decided to jump off these lovely couple's table, unfortunately he flips right into a table that was serving a flaming hot shrimp with a dash of sambuca liquor meal for show.] Renardd: Arrghah!!! Shit!! My fu- back. Crowd: Oooh my God! Crowd2: What is happening?! Crowed3: Call the police!!! Kid: Gasppp! Are-are you ok? Renardd: Get him I'll be right behind you! [As Renardd was rising to his feet so was the couple of the smashed table.] Guy couple: What the hell man! Renardd: Sorry about that, I guess angels really do fall from the sky.

Can Renardd save Pamela in time from the sadistic Mad Beast and unravel the mysteries that pulls them down deeper into the rabbit whole?
About the Author
Moisaque Blanc, also known as (Mo) has truly earned the title of being called Jack of All Trades. Mo has worked his way to possessing skills such as graphic designer, story writer, and at times devotes to helping the homeless by volunteering serving them natural healthy meals. He lives his life on the edge, as he accomplish sky dive and enjoys bike riding. He is also part of a creative team for art known as Prodigy 6. Mike is not a mysterious person who prefers to keep to himself. He lives his life completely opposite of his partner. Impatient, lazy, selfish man, who has a drive for the "world of ink" as he calls it. Anything pertaining to art or writing captures his imagination and drives his creativity to new peaks. Ironically giving him the self driven will to propel him out of his normal habitats and into another world prefers to live by his own creed and loves saying "There's nothing worst than being unprepared". He does not talk much about himself and prefers to work alone stating "There isn't a human alive that can maintain the same level of passion as myself except that clean freak partner of mine". His greatest fault that he sees as his gift is that midway through one project he starts a new one. He too is a member of Prodigy 6.
