About the Book

The Troubles
Sometimes the trouble's of others reflect upon us.
We must remember it is their troubles, not ours.
Sometimes the evils of the world reflects
like a ray of light,
through a window pane.
Sometimes we slip,
but remember to stand up,
on your feet.
Brush your shoulders off
and keep on keeping on.

In these hard times people need a word of encouragement.  Readers can relate the literature to any life situation they are experiencing.  Readers should know someone in the world shares their pain or experience.  You will find yourself lifted and holding on to life.

Alone With My Heart, encourages readers to continue to live after devastation.  It is simplistic, sweet, to the point and a thought provoking piece of writing.

It is alright to cry, but never give up.  Trouble doesn't last forever; it's life.  Life is a test of our will to get up after we stumble and fall.

Every word was written from the essence of  the heart.  A true broken heart and spirit fighting the temptation to give up and fall to emotional and mental victimization.  We've all experienced heartbreak, disappointment, pain, dysfunction and loss.  The outcome of these afflictions are determined by how we defuse  the situations to reach our purpose. Teneka believes her divine purpose is to inspire and uplift.  She states, "Life is hard enough when you face adversities alone.  I would like to be a stepping stone in your journey to life recovery, showing you that no challenge is too difficult to over come.  Life is about finding your purpose. It is about going through the storms of life. In times of devastation you must reach into your soul, spirit and mind to keep on keeping on.  Cry or scream if you must,  but never give up.  God challenges individuals to bring them closer to him.  We were all created from love.  We were not born to suffer because of disappointing life experiences"
