About the Book

Bella is a pampered cat who lives with Ms Tibby in a quaint house on Holly Street. She spends her days lying around and getting as much attention as she desires. As an only cat, Bella has never had to share anything. One day, everything changes when Ms. Tibby rescues another kitten from the harsh outdoors. Bella's jealousy causes the new kitten to suffer an unfortunate situation. Bella learns a valuable lesson in patience, tolerance, acceptance, and love as she must make a decision that will change her entire life.

About the Author

Rachel Beck grew up in a small town in southern Missisippi. She graduated nursing school in 1996 and currently resides in Tennessee where she works as a registered nurse. She lives with her husband, Greg, her daughter, Jenna, and four furry children. She owns a black pomeranian named Maggie and three fabulous felines named Sadie, Shelby, and Sophie. As a child, her mother read children's books to her for many hours. Rachel still owns many of her childhood books and now has the joy of reading them to her daughter. She developed a special love of children's books as a child and always had a dream of writing one of her own books someday. Bella is her first book and was inspired from watching her three kitties learn to get along as each new kitty was introduced. Rachel hopes to write more about Bella in the coming years and hopes to teach children valuable lessons that will build character and create more kindness in the world.
