About the Author

YRENE ABANIE ENONCHONG was born in Cameroon, West Africa. Her late father, His Royal Highness Chief Dr. H.N.A Enonchong who is her hero and greatest inspiration, was a Cameroonian tribal ruler, a successful Lawyer and business entrepreneur. Her mum Mama Banda Charlotte is of Italian descent, and is a real estate investor.

After completing her undergraduate education abroad, she obtained a Master degree (LL.M.) in American Legal Studies and is currently working on a Doctorate program. She is a successful entrepreneur and CEO of her own business in Los Angeles. She is equally passionate about arts and is a singer/songwriter, producer/designer.

Yrene began writing poetry to help express her feelings and frustrations about the life experiences she encountered and to voice the injustice, abuse, oppression and prejudice around the world. Writing for her, is a way of celebrating her joys, and expressing her viewpoints openly and creatively.

Yrene is bold, level-headed, smart and ambitious and family oriented. Her character traits are portrayed in her work. She enjoys music, movies, cooking, dancing, fashion, and travelling.

She is fluent in French, is married and has a one year old son.
