About the Book

Do you remember what time of day you saw the most beautiful colors in the sky? Do you remember rain drops splashing on your tongue in the rain? How can we teach our children to appreciate moments in life that are not bought in stores? This book offers a fresh look at what matters most in childhood memories, and reminds parents that moments shared are monumental compared to objects bought. Share this book with your child and discuss their experiences that make them feel joy. You may just find that the time you share in this discussion may be a memory that they will always cherish.

About the Author

Kimberly Miller lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and two children. This is her first book that she has had published. She is a self-taught artist and loves to share her passion of art by teaching both children and adults in her community. By conveying basic art skills to beginners or finer points to more experienced students, she relishes in their passion as she conveys hers. Her lessons often consist of much more than art skills. She explains values of color are as important in art as the values we use to define ourselves on the canvas of life.

Kimberly takes great pride in her active duty service in the United States Navy from 1980 until her honorable discharge in 1988. All of her traveling and life experiences have contributed to her values and appreciation of her family and the wonderful things that make her smile daily.
