“The clear, clean water soothed them. Water fairies, who lived under the water, were the keepers of the river. They were thrilled that others were enjoying Mother Earth’s bountiful blessings. Amid the lapping of the waves, they could hear the water fairies play and sing.
As they rounded a bend, a large Blue Heron lifted off and flew ahead silently. They had to be alert to see her because she was so quiet. How amazing that such a big bird could be so sneaky! They told her, “Don’t worry! We won’t hurt you and we are so happy to see you.”
