About the Book

This is my debut of talent to the world. If you love the art of expression and the art that vocabuary can release through a creative flow of stanzas then this is especially for you. Poetry in this day and age isn't fully appreciated. Most of our music today is simple and shallow to say the least but this is the exact opposite. This digs a hole where a hole should be dug, It asks questions that should be asked, It challenges the heart and mind to think different and BE different. I'm proud to have completed it and send this collection of poetry your way. A mind is as deep and artistic as we allow it to be so allow yours to rome here today as you read this, ENJOY!

About the Author

I believe that everyone has a story to tell and no one can tell that story better than that one person who envisioned it. Just like anyone else, I too have a story, my stories are in my poems. Every stanza I write, every rhyming, or non-rhyming line of expression and emotion that reaches my paper tells a story. Every poem I write has its own color, its own voice, that's why I wanted to share my writings. I think of it as showing the world something other than black and white. Every single thought that ever posesed any artistic value to me are within these pages. Whether it be me expressing an emotion, talking about a lesson learned, or just a creation of a story I wanted to tell, those words are here, within these pages. They all posess some reflection of a memory or emotion, giving value to this book. They reflect a lethal power in vocabuary, if not anything else I'll always hold the key to expression. So as if my heart's dipped in ink, that's what I write with. I'd like to thank everyone that encouraged me to use my writings as more than just a hobby, Thank you! Thank you for reminding me that YES God has gifted me and YES he expects me to use it. Thank you to my husband, my family, my past inspirations, and inspirations to come. They have allowed me to put this together. Besides having the ability to light up a notebook I've learned to be a wife, a mother, I've been blessed with a lot. I fell in love young and married my best friend, my first love. My husband is a marine, we have a 17 mth old son and a girl on the way. He's currently deployed but before then we were stationed in Twentynine Palms, Ca. We are from Houma, Louisiana, so yes we did get to experience life outside of our comfort zone. We're just a young couple trying to susceed and provide a great life for our babies. Writing a book and publishing seemed impossible but here I am. I appreciate the support from my parents Elaine and Steve, my mother-in-law, Nadine, and all of my siblings as well, but most of all my husband, Justin for giving me that extra push. I love you all. With all of that being said, Here it is, from the mind of a papoose and the thoughts thought of and swam in all as a NATIVE QUEEN. I hope you enjoy.
