This is a story about Geoffrey and Chongo and what they go through when they find out that Daddy is going to be deployed with the National Guard. Geoffrey has a few new friend’s this adventure Mr. Wiggles and Mr. Amazing. Come and enjoy the new adventure.

About the Author

After being deployed for my second tour of duty, I decided to share the experience of what my family went through when I found out that I was deploying for the first time. I tried to leave the book positive for the reader’s enjoyment, but I also left some sadness in so the readers can understand what my family and many other military families go through. The cover page and Mr. Amazing was illustrated by my good friend, Staff Sergeant Leroy P. Baca. I recently returned home from my second deployment in Afghanistan; I was away from home for 12 months. I currently live in a small town southeast of Phoenix, Arizona called San Tan Valley; I live in a wonderful neighborhood with the best neighbors anyone could ask for. Without them, close friends, and family my wife and Geoffrey would have had a harder time with this second deployment. I hope you enjoy this new adventure of Geoffrey and Chongo. I also wish everyone the best and hope you fulfill your dreams one day.
