About the Book

Have you ever wondered how you can capture your dream? There are people who have created organizations, lived fulfilled lives or even changed their countries. How did they do it? It all started with a dream. However they did more than dream, they lived their dream. Do you want to live your dream?

For any organization to grow and be noticed, they must have a strategy. That strategy details the vision of the organization, the values that organization holds and the action points that organization will follow to achieve its goals. Imagine if all individuals in this world did the same thing.

One way of capturing your dream is by having a personal strategy. This entails coming up with a personal vision, drawing up your personal values, and setting goals.

That is what this notebook is about, capturing the dream that you have always had. It is a step by step workbook on ensuring you do not go to the grave with your dream.

About the Author

I hold a Masters Degree in Leadership from Pan Africa Christian University, Nairobi, Kenya. My project paper in the leadership course was on strategic planning. During my working life and involvement in church, I have been part of teams that drew strategic plans for a bank and our church. From my experience while doing my final project paper and while drawing strategic plans with the teams I was part of, I asked myself this question. If individuals in any organizations drew strategic plans for their lives and aligned themselves to organizations with similar views, what would be the impact to these individuals and the organizations? This is what led to the writing of this book. Most of the thoughts in this book are therefore derived from strategic planning for organizations but personalized or amended to suit individuals. I live in Nairobi, Kenya with my family. I am married to Martha Muthengi and we have two children. Mark Mukenia, our son is 9 years and Maken Mutheu, our daughter is 4 years. I work in the banking industry where I have been working for the last 16 years. I have interests in personal development issues, parenting issues and pre-marital trainings. As a couple we have been involved in the last two in our church for over 5 years.
