Canion has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's in Nutrition, is Certified in Holistic Nutrition, is a Board Certified Nutritional Consultant, and is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the College of Clinical Nutrition. Dr. Canion practices as a Nutritional Consultant in Cuero, Texas and in Victoria, Texas. Dr. Canion has a global understanding of nutrition having traveled around the world five times and has lived or traveled to every continent except Antartica. She lived abroad for almost twenty years and continues to travel the world studying diet and lifestyles. Phylis has authored a book entitled The A, B, C's of Nutrition, a simple guide to the do's and don't's of eating eating. Dr. Canion has published Read All About It, Q's and A's about Nutrition, Volume I and II and is working on her next book, Why Do I Feel Like Hell And All Of My Blood Owrk Is Normal. She is a syndicated columnist with a weekly nutrition column. Dr. Canion is a guest speaker on nutrition and has written numerous articles for publication in magazines and newspapers and has been published in Healthy Living Magazine.
