If you are lucky enough to find a shed antler you can now measure and score the antler. The Boone and Crockett Club provides guidelines for scoring a shed antler. Theodore Roosevelt founded this organization in 1887. The original name was intended to honor Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. They were honest men who loved the outdoors. Once you have found a shed you can review your trail camera photos to see if you have any pictures of that buck. Some antlers have characteristics that make them easy to match.

About the Book
This book will build background knowledge about deer and their behavior patterns. The ten chapters will encourage young readers to interact with nature and learn enjoyable methods to observe deer. The full color photographs show how to participate in scouting activities. About the Author
Chad Frase has been teaching fourth grade since 2002. He is a certified Hunter’s Safety Education Instructor in the State of Wisconsin. When he is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He and his family enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and scouting whitetails.
