About the Author

Paul Brown, a fifth generation Houstonian, resides in northwest Houston, Texas and is a dad of three. Paul has traveled the globe to eighty-one countries in six continents to date, works at an offshore drilling contractor, and teaches high school classes as a volunteer part-time. Paul once upon a time had a newspaper column in Houston at the ‘Northwest News’, worked at ‘The Houston Post’ newspaper, was a member of the Houston Press Club, and a legislative aide for The Texas House of Representatives. Paul graduated from Dwight Eisenhower High School where he was co-editor of the school newspaper, attended Aldine High School where he was a reporter for the ‘Mustang’, and Stovall Middle School where he was reporter for ‘The Sentinel’. Paul graduated from The University of Houston, where he was a reporter for the ‘Daily Cougar’. Paul is a Texas Alpha Mu Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity alumni member. Paul was born on a military base ‘ a long time ago’, and has resided in Houston, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; Ft. McMurray, Alberta, Canada; Rochester, New York; Mt. Clemons, Michigan, Wichita Falls, Texas and Irving, Texas, and worked in South Korea. Paul is the author of ‘Passing the Time’, ‘More Time to Pass’, “Still another Time-Times Remembered” and the upcoming “The Best of Times”, due out later in 2011, and ‘Times Then and Now’, due out in 2012. Earlier publications were in books published in the early 1990’s.Paul’s kids are pictured in author scene: Eric graduated University of Texas San Antonio, Monica graduated Sam Houston State University and Terina is completing her studies at Paul’s alma mater, The University of Houston.
