When our moms were killed, Mina and I started to discover through more serious conversations that our lives were almost parallel. The more we confided in each other the more we founded out that our moms were not great parents. When I started being recruited by colleges to play b-ball, Mina and I made a pact. Wherever I went to school, she would go to that school so that we could stay close to each other.
