About the Author
My name is Gabriella, and I'm 8 3/4 years old. Having to find out something is wrong inside your body and you are sick is a very difficult journey for you and your parents. It's hard to understand why sad things happen to children. Going to the hospital for any treatment is not easy, and you're not alone. Not only do your parents and relatives care about you, but I found out that people you don't even know care about you as well. My Mom had cancer and I was scared, she had to go to the hosiptal a lot. My cousin Amilia May had eye cancer and had to get operated on. Everyone would tell us we're not alone, because my Mom and Amilia May received a zillion cards from people we didn't even know. Everyone is OK and cured now, so I wanted you to feel that you're not alone and I wanted to put some smiles on kids faces with the jokes that I wrote with my Dad. There's a saying that goes "Laugher is the Best Medicine", so here's my medicine, a book full of knee slapers and don't foget that when you're done reading this joke book, pass it on to another kid so they feel that they are not alone too. Love, Laugh and Live...You're just a Kid. Gabriella
