About the Book

About the Author

Victor M Bello, M.D. is a physician. A practicing ophthalmologist in the Cleveland area for over 30 years. He has adopted the pen name "Bello". Ask him whatever got him to write children stories. He says that it was the inspirational moment observing his children at play in this first adventure. They were fascinated by the spider web. Really who wouldn't…? Spider webs are works of art although sometimes they can be huge and messy, but Hairy Harry's was different. "This is our first story and I wrote it with the kids, when they were 5 and 3 years of age. Yes, they did contribute with ideas of their own. They are older now but still remain enthusiastic about creating stories with me". Does that mean that there are more stories to come? Yes we have 3 more already written adventures and their publication will be forthcoming. Dr. Bello lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, with his wife Maridee (Didi) and their two youngsters, Victor and Vincent. His 3 daughters, Lolita, Alexandra and Vanessa live in Indianapolis, Baltimore and San Francisco respectively. There are two grandchildren Jackson and Mia, whose age is between Victor and Vincent. The children form a beautiful marimba with their ages. That makes Dr. Bello state that "he never learned to be a Grandpa", because his young children and grandchildren are close in age. More often than not, when Dr. Bello is with his two youngsters, people refer to him as "the Grandpa", so he has a Polo shirt embroidered with "I am the papa NOT the grandpa". The entire family gets together often during the year for the different holidays and at least every two years take a family vacation…. "It is a real blast"… he says. "We have already found more inspirational imaginactions in our vacations".
