About the Author

In Sugar Sandwich ©, Diane is paying homage to her southern roots and to her family through sharing her collection of recipes and stories. Diane lives in Omaha, Nebraska in a two story home with lots of yarn, fabric, food, and recipes! She loves to cook and share her food with friends and family. On her front porch and other spaces, you will find containers of sea shells. These small touches of Florida provide her with a hint of the sea! Jacksonville, Florida and Vidalia, Georgia hold her roots and her heart! She and her husband and three sons and two grandsons enjoy great big family meals together. Diane Wells Rivers is also a 29 year veteran educator and is presently an Assistant Principal, curriculum author, and educational services consultant.
