In the midst of shock, grief and outrage, with an ineffective President in the White House, the directors of the FBI and CIA work together to stop the insanity and reduce the panic that grips the nation. “American in the Crosshairs,” a can’t-put-it-down mystery races from Washington, D.C., to Detroit to Oakland to Montana to Biloxi and back to Washington for the surprising conclusion.
About the Author
Jack Dold has traveled the United States for more than 40 years, visiting nearly every city, large and small, across the nation, in his capacity as owner of a successful tour company. During his travels he has kept extensive journal notes about the places, the people, the mindset of the country. The result is this chilling novel about true terrorism, which invades the living rooms and offices of small-town America. In it he calls, not only for vigilance against terrorism, but also for understanding between the forces that divide the country, forces that often are divisive, but when mobilized have also made America strong. Crosshairs is a story of hope in America.
