About the Book

Four Days To Glory is a pictorial adventure of the volunteer 'get out to vote' campaign workers who rode the bus for 16 hours from Houstonto Florida to help with the Obama campaign in the Republican counties of Florida. The volunteers were a mixture of black, white, young, old, professionals, and retirees. This is our adventure.

About the Author

Dr. Sam H. Hughes was awarded Outstanding Achievement in Poetry in 2006 and 2008 by the International Society of Poets. Dr. Hughes has published "When Tomorrow Comes", Thoughts, Reflections and Humorous Anecdotes for Today's Black Youth. Dr. Hughes is a retired disabled Viet Nam veteran. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class.Dr. Hughes is a retired public school administrator from the Houston Independent School District. He is a certified USA Track & Field official. He officiates youth, high school and college track meets.
