About the Author

My Profile Hi my name is Eleni Zekarias Megiso and I am 11 years old. I am from Ethiopia in Awassa. I then came to London at 2005 to join my dad as he lived here. I went to primary school here and know am in Fulham cross girls high school and it is great here with absolutely amazing teachers especially my form tutor as well as great friends. I got inspired to write this book because I love reading and I am good at it so I started writing a short story and then I showed it to my dad he said it was really great he encouraged me and said that writing is not something that you take for granted it is something that was blessed upon you and you would be gifted to have that talent so that is why I wrote the book it is dedicated to my family as they are just the best you can get. Talking about family I have 2 sisters called Nebiat and Aryam I also have a new baby brother called Matthew. I have a mum and dad called Genet and Zekarias I also have a favourite aunty called Rachel. My favourite author is Jacqueline Wilson I hope I can be a good writer like her one day. Zip it Lock it throw it was inspired by her because she wrote stories about children in need help and how they redeem themselves that is why I wanted to write that story and the Midnight story is for my friend Essra, Danielle and Tanisha they are really amazing friends to have.
