In her dreams, Gypsy finds herself in Paris, France at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. What a site, tall and glowing in the sun. The Eiffel Tower was built for the Paris Exposition in 1889. The people of France responded negatively to the Eiffel Tower during the building. A petition was presented on behalf of writers, painters, sculptures, and architects. The petition stated that the Eiffel Tower was a useless and ugly Tower. The tower was built to celebrate the science and engineering achievements of its age. The Eiffel Towers soars 984 feet high with close to over 1,000 feet that includes an antenna. Today, the grand Eiffel Tower is praised by the French. Citizens and the international community say it is one of the symbols of Paris. As Gypsy looks up at the tall building, she is anxious to visit the Eifel Tower. She hears that there are 700 steps so she is off at top speed to scale them. "Woof, woof."

About the Book
Gypsy and Winston live with their Mom and Dad in Orlando, Florida. Gypsy is a Golden Retriever and Winston is a King Charles Spaniel. They have fun playing with each other and the family. Winston is a great ball player and an eve n better dancer and Gypsy is a good runner. Each night as the sky draws dark, the dogs fall to sleep on their beds. You can hear Gypsy making a soft yapping sound that indicates she dreams each night. This begins her visit to the places of Europe. "Woof, woof."
