About the Author
Dr. Lorne K. Freake (pronounced Free-ak) is an ordained minister with the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches (CABC). He has served as a pastor, a Bible college teacher, and a chaplain in correctional service chaplaincy ministry. He has ministered both ‘inside’ the walls as a prison chaplain and ‘outside’ as a community chaplain. He is a Certified Facilitator for Community Justice Forums (Restorative Justice Initiatives).
He presently serves as the Director of Ministry Advancement (DMA) for the Canadian Bible Society for Atlantic Canada.
Dr. Freake and his wife Peggy (a high school guidance counselor) are the proud parents of four ‘young adult’ children.
