About the Author

I wrote my first children story book, while I was attending South Bank University here in London, in 2007. At the time I was studying to become a teaching assistant. I remembered doing my presentation and was asked to read a book that had a great impact on my life whilst growing up. Then I took out the story in which I wrote and read it out to my fellow pairs. At the end of that session, I received a merit for writing and sharing a story of my own creation. My fellow teaching assistants encouraged me to continue and never stop writing. When I was attending Secondary school in Jamaica, where I was born, I realized that I had this great interest, desire and passion for writing children story books. It is something that I really enjoys and also encourages me whenever I see young children reading, knowing the fact that it will edify them in more ways than one. I'm living here in London, England. I was born in Jamaica. I came to England at a very young age. I grew up in Jamaica with my mother and siblings. My two sisters and one brother. I'm the eldest of them all. I am now married and living with my husband and son. I love children very much and this was the reason I decided to write children story books in order for them to read and make themselves approved.
