About the Author

Lorna Henningham was born in Manchester, Jamaica but grew up in the parish of Portland Jamaica, where she attended the Manchioneal Primary school and later Happy Grove High School. It was in High school that her love for English Literature began. She pursued a career in nursing and worked at the University Hospital of the West Indies for 17 years. Currently, she resides and works in South Florida. She is married to Delroy, her husband of 27 years and is the proud mother of two children and a step- daughter. She is a born again Christian and a member of the Davie Community Worship Center, where she teaches Sunday school and makes a significant contribution to ministry, through the arts.
