About the Book

The desire for this book is to give these children hope and to let them know that they are loved and not forgotten even though it may look and feel like they are. It is also to educate people about the lives that thousands of children live every day. It will also have a huge impact on how we believe God fells about us, and even how we feel about ourselves. I believe this to be true. It is exremely difficult to understand a loving Heavenly Father that will never leave us, when many of the fathers/mothers here on earth have done just that. He (God) however is not a man that He should lie, He holds true to Hiw Word no matter what. I would like to invite you to find out what His Word says. His Word is the Bible. The Bible is actually a love letter from your Heavenly Father. Do not put pressure on yourself to speed read, start off by simply asking God to help you understand what you read. Always remember that the Bible is Good News! While you are on this amazing new journey you may encounter some words that are not familiar to you. Here is a small list of some possible words that you may need a simple of explanation of: * Sin - anything that separates us from God. * Repent - to turn around - to stop and go a different direction * Redeem - to pay for * Forgiveness - let someone off the hook for hurting you or others "The time promised by God has come at last!" he announced. "The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!" Mark 1:15

About the Author

The Lord has birthed a ministry through me that reaches out to children that have been abused, neglected and ultimately rejected. This ministry is called Back 2 Basics Ministry. While I was shopping for books for the children one day, it became painfully aware that there were not many books that these children could relate to, or find hope in.
